I have been hacking the ttf2afm programme that comes with pdfTeX so that it can generate complete afm files for 16-bit windows ttf fonts using the uniXXXX naming convention; the early results are encouraging. Now I have to work out how to get chars > 255 into the postscript output. Tomas
