It's usefull when you have AbiWord installed - starting with translation. If you want to work on "fresh" strings you have to use information from xap_, ap_strings.id.h. PA> You may also want to mention po editors. I use KBabel. These prevent syntax PA> errors from creeping into your po files. Right. It's usefull. I have tried this. But now I prefer editing .strings file by hand. Its syntax is simple, and (most usefull) I can work with running AbiWord and _see_results_ of translation just after translation. Andrzej
