I have a Access 2000 database split FE/BE (FE on user's PCs, BE on server), running on Access 2003. It has been working fine for a few years now (through various mods). I recently added 2 new tables to the BE (Enquiries & Enquiry Lines) The BE has about 30 tables. Now odd records in the Enquiry Lines are getting corrupt (either gibberish or #error# in each field) every couple of days or so. The table at the moment contains about 300 records (72 fields). I can compact & repair & then delete the problem record & everything is back to normal for another couple of days. It is always the same table, never one of the others.
I've tried creating a new data BE & importing all the tables, but the problem persists. My instinct to to blame a piece of hardware (PC, network card, server etc), but that maybe because I'm a software programmer! Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I might track down the problem? Thanks Jane ------------------------ Yahoo! Groups Sponsor --------------------~--> Get Bzzzy!
