Hi Vine, I didn’t have a Windows machine handy when I wrote my email and just looked at the RAT version in subversion and it is currently version 4.4.01. Someone else confirmed to me that they were running RAT 4.4.00 with the AG 3.2 bundled installer for Windows.
The ‘-X’ argument processing ability was added in RAT SVN revision 4213 (e.g. to process “-Xgeometry=300x300-400+705” where you are getting the error) , but RAT version 4.4.00 corresponds to SVN revision 3971, while version 4.4.01 corresponds to SVN revision 4124. I was looking at the revision logs of the VERSION and main_control.c files to determine the SVN revisions : http://mediatools.cs.ucl.ac.uk/nets/mmedia/browser/rat/trunk/ So I’m very confused as to what revision of RAT is actually being used on Windows. You could try copying the rat exe files from the local_services\AudioService on the working machine to the one that isn’t. Sorry I’m not sure what else to suggest. I'm guessing rat-4.4.01 in that folder might have been replaced with rat-4.4.00 which doesn't support the -X switch.
