I have a Dell Optiplex 960 running Windows XP set up as an AG client, and I'm running an AG Venue server and Bridge on the Windows XP platform. The Optiplex has an interesting dual use rear port: it can be used with a microphone or line in device, and there is a software setting to enable microphone use (see attached - the "Select" box should be checked to get usable microphone input). I have a clear one echo canceling microphone plugged into this rear port. When RAT initializes, the software switch that enables microphone use gets disabled (the "Select" box becomes de-selected), and the microphone does not work. I have come up with a command line solution to enable the select box, but it is somewhat of a pain to train all users to run this command line solution on this particular PC.
1. Any ideas why this would occur, and more importantly, how to stop it from happening? 2. If no to #1, where can I insert the command line code so that the command line is run each time after RAT initializes (so that it is transparent to the users)? Thanks for your help. Enrique Terrazas
