Dear Friends. Could not resist responding to this though its off topic. I have traveled widely in India. Worked in slums of bangalore and chennai wondered around the cities of Raipur , Bhopal, Delhi and so on. Lived in villages. One thing is clear to me dogs bark when they see a stick (the white cane we hold) when they are single its not a problem they don't attack. when they are in a group They tend to attack. (dog behavior) I was chased by dogs many times in these cities and now what I do is immediately fold my Cain when I here a dog and ask for help. I was about to be bitten by a dog in Bangalore.
