Shobhan, there is no question of taking it seriously or not. Once these guidelines become a part of a court order or the government issues a GR then it becomes the law of the state and if any examining authority disobeys it the candidate can file a contempt petition or a writ petition.
What we will have to do is keep a copy of this order handy and show it to the examining authorities. Other states can also use it to get similar orders. Therefore I am making this attempt to get everyone's opinion on this group.
