If you simply want to save articles for the purpose of reading, here is one 
option.

Don't bother about copying it in the word document. Just click "save as" in 
the file menu. As the dialogue box appears, press tab to move to the "save 
as type" and select "html only" and save the file in your chosen location.

Now you can simply open the file and read. You can press N to land directly 
at the text.
