Dear List Members, Thanks for your suggestions/Ideas. Security Sensitisation &shopping Assistance would always be there for all shoppers with Blindness and beep functionality is an additional thought which we are exploring.As many of you have already pointed out,all Big Bazaar stores across the country is providing shopping assistance facility to all and we are continuously training our 30,000 strong workforce on Disability.Everyone is encouraged to go to our stores and avail the facility and give our staff a first hand experience of meeting Persons with Disabilities(PWD).As Harish has already suggested,we are considering a differentiated sound for all our Independent stores and can be an additional cue for Blind&partial Shoppers.We had received feedback of 50+ Shoppers with Blindness during our Audits for consideration and are currently exploring it.It gives me immense happiness to share that a lot of individuals across the nation had experienced shopping for the first time and first times should be always memorable-first love,first salary,first trip and your first shopping experience. AI has been a constant support in this Journey & please keep on safely experiencing outdoors-Adventure sports,Marathons,Commuting,meeting old pals,shopping and showing the world that Blinds exist.The core thought is that we should move out of our comfort Zones and become more visible.
