I try to carry it around in a small bottle when we go out somewhere because in generally going around also, we tend to touch walls and doors etc. a lot more and cleaning the hands with the sanitizer before and after the meal is good. I've tried to practice a lot to eat with a knife and a fork because we need to frequently go out with office people to eat. But haven't succeeded at all. I can use just a spoon and a fork alright but the knife is something I just cannot use so far. Usually I try to order things that are dry and not very messy so, even if I have to use hands, its relatively ok. While eating non-vegetarian, I try to get boneless just to reduce mess and asking around where to put the bones etc. Regards, Manish -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Harish Kotian Sent: Friday, December 14, 2007 11:23 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [AI] Using spoons, forks, knives and other such cutleries Hello What I observed, when we use cutlery, folks arround us, take notice of our eating with raised curiosity. I guess eating gracefully is more important than using cutlery or not. In certain regions folks eat very clumsly even using fingers. I don't mean to hurt sentiments, but if one has to eat with grace, the food should not touch the palm and one should not squeeze the food into balls. A friend of mine uses a novel way of cleaning fingers by using a liquid called sanitizer. I don't know of its easy availability, it seems to be a spirit like liquid. I suppose the floppy head cleaner spray should do the job just as efficiently and this should be easily available. Sadly, these days we use less and less of floppies and probably the cleaner may not be available in the near future. Even if we wipe our fingers with tissue, it does not make it fully clean. The sanitizer surely makes it fully clean. Harish. ----- Original Message ----- From: "YADAV, D.
