I feel that, the error "a referral was returned from the server" is getting
from the jaws.
For better understanding , I would like to request you to share some more
details such as operating system and so on to address the issues.
Again, Please enable the user account notification level to 0 to solve the
error "a referral was returned from the server".

Hi!
Yes, the portable version doesn't work on log on screen, I know.
that's why I wanted to install it as a first attempt. But as I mentioned, I
could not get it installed for some unknown reason. the messageabove in
quotes are being shown often.
Regarding JAWS, I got the dongle for version 15 and recently, in the month
of January I got it updated for JAWS 2019. All of a sudden, the dongle is
shown to be not recognised USB device on PCs. I tried it on some other PC as
well.
