hello, thanks for the link. perhapes i did not mentioned my problem fully in my earlier message. when i open any particular message in outlook and when i try to read message headers with alt+1 and alt+2, i get the message that field is not available in the dialog. i believe that this field do exist in all the mails like from to and subject. i am getting this error in all the messages after opening them. thanks, mukesh
