Hello Aniruddha and Sonu,
though private sector doesn't have to follow PWD reservation under RPD
act, they have certain other legal obligations so they can't refuse
employment to Visually Impaired candidates and other PWD candidates.
Some time back there was a job alert  where Odisha had reserved 1 %
seats for visually impaired person in unaided institutes for teachers
if Odisha can follow this norm then why not other institutes?. I think
some advocacy needed. All establishments have been brought under the
RPWD  act. They have to recruit certain portion of PWD workforce. We
can challenge this in a court. Experts from legal background can
comment on this.
