Dear list members, some time back, a discussion on income tax website accessibility took place. In this regard, I would like to share my experience.
Yesterday, I successfully submitted my return to the website. However, I had to take assistance at one point which needs to be attended to. As I validated my return form and clicked 'Pay Now', I selected other banks, that is, the second option. In the second option, I found my bank and clicked on 'submit'. I was taken to NSDL site which had a captcha before I could I continue. There was no voice captcha available or any other option. Hence I had to take assistance. As I submitted after solving the captcha, PNB login page opened. No problem hereafter. NSDL site has a captcha which cannot be read even through jaws picture recognition option, which is insert plus space, than p and c. I solve many captch through this option but on NSDL it failed.
