Dear Friend, it not matter's if you are using WhatsApp web/WhatsApp desktop, it works for both as same. still if you are facing this issues, then please do check your internet connectivity. as per my understanding, you should have atleast average connectivity to download any attachments. hence I am receiving dayly attachments on my Whatsapp itself.
