Hi,
If you want to use a built-in screen-reader in Windows 11, Windows comes
natively with speech called Narrator, and it is much improved from the
Windows 7 version of that screen-reader so give it a try.
The shortcut to enable Narrator in Windows is Control Windows Enter. If that
fails then try Windows Enter without the Control key for earlier versions of
Windows. One of these should work from the Windows Desktop.
An even better screen-reader is NVDA, from NVAccess.com which is also
freeware but built by the blind for the blind.
Oh and while I'm on this topic, if anyone wants to try a very quick
key-press responsive TTS Voice, you should give RH Voice a try. The voices
are not perfectly human, but the responsiveness is as good as Eloquence, but
is free, and has many languages. Personally when I hit a key on the keyboard
I want immediate response. I will choose responsiveness over clarity of
voice any time. RH Voice gives the best of both worlds.

And in case anyone is wondering: No I don't sell any of these products. I'm
just doing my little bit to make people's lives easier. It's something I'm
passionate about and have been doing this on other lists also, particularly
related to audio production for the blind. But now that I have just moved

hello access indians,
as subject line says that I want to install windows 11 independently
with the help of TWPE software. I have successfully created bootable
USB pen drive of this software and my system boot successfully from
this. but I am not getting speech feedback from the talking windows
pre environment. I tried windows 10, windows 8, windows 7's TWPE but
got no result. I also search for windows 11 TWPE on google but perhaps
it is not available yet. thats why i used these old versions. If
anyone knows the solution of this problem, please guide me.
for better understanding, i am providing my laptop details.
