I am working with Bank of Baroda at a branch in Mumbai suburbs. We had the BAS system set up for marking attendance. I took the opportunity to mark attendance with a sighted colleague for a few days punch in and punch out to understand the rhythm of the machine.
There is a slot to put a finger onto and the machine beeps in a certain pattern until it recognizes and accepts the employee's finger print, it keeps beeping and once the print is accepted, it acknowledges with alonger beep sound which comes after a while so its a matter of practice. I got to understand from sighted colleagues that once it recognizes the employee the machine flashes the photograph on the screen. However, there is a portal for employees and unit supervisors to check attendance and that portal isn't accessible so still trying to understand how to put across accessibility to them on that.
