Hi friends,

My friend booked a Samsung phone from Amazon for me using online payment method.

Yesterday it arrived. The delivery guy asked me the OTP over phone (I
wasn’t home), which I told him. He said that the OTP was wrong, and
sent the OTP message again, and continued asking the OTP as I listened
to the VoiceOver. Multiple times he sent and asked me the OTP, and
finally said that there’s something wrong, and went away, without
handing the phone.

In the evening when I phoned my friend, he asked me about the phone. I
told him that I haven’t received any phone. He told me to stop
kidding, but I insisted that I was serious.

Then it struck us that having entered the OTP and updating the status
to delivered, the delivery guy would have gone away with the phone. He
lodged a complaint in Amazon, but till this time neither I have
received the phone nor the refund.

Can you please tell me what we can do to save the money?

Thanks in advance,

Shadab
