Hi Bhawani, I guess you are referring to the installation of a Progressive Web App or PWA. The advantage of a PWA is that, if designed well, it can give the experience of a native app (like the ones we install from AppStore or Play Store). When you usually open a website like YouTube on chrome, besides the website, you'll find the address bar and other features of chrome on the top. But if you open an installed PWA from the desktop, it would usually open on full screen without all these browser elements, giving a cleaner interface and app like user experience. Further, usually they are designed to work offline (wherever possible) so that it is faster than a regular website.
