hi,

As per my knowledge, according to the government of Maharashtra, the scribe
should be from a different stream.
but, there are no restrictions on the qualification on the scribe.
but as per indian government rules, there are no restrictions on the stream
but on the qualification.
so, Scribe can be from any stream but should be one step below the
qualification of the candidate.
