Dear All,
I hope this message finds you well. Perhaps this may have discussed many time in the list. Sorry for asking again. I’m currently using a Windows laptop with JAWS as my screen reader software, but I’m considering migrating to an Apple MacBook. Before making the switch, I would love to hear from those of you who have experience using a MacBook, particularly regarding accessibility for visually impaired users. Some of the specific points I’d like to know about are: - Is VoiceOver inbuilt and how user-friendly is it compared to JAWS? - What are the pros and cons of using VoiceOver on a Mac? - How seamless is the experience of working on applications commonly used for day-to-day works (email, web browsing, document editing, etc.)? - Any insights into accessibility? - Overall, do you find it easy to navigate and productive in your daily tasks with Mac’s accessibility features? - Any model suggestion under 80K? Any advice or shared experiences would be highly appreciated as I weigh the decision of migrating to Apple’s ecosystem. Looking forward to your feedback. Thanks in advance.
