I want to place these suggestions which did not get mention in the
guidelines: What do you all think about them:
1 The candidate may be given the option to carry their own laptop /
access technology. This does not exclude the examination body to provide
these accomodation.
Justification: Although these devices are of reasonable standard layout,
there are these miner differentiation like key size, spacing of the keys
and placing of some keys like back-space, insert key etc. they do make
difference where speed matters.
2 Where examination bodies have their pool of scribes, they need to be
properly trained and sensitized. They may take services of NGO's to take
mock tests and only those scribe who qualify such tests may be
empaneled. Depending on regional language, or technical subjects, tests
may be checked on these extra skills as well.
Justification, in the past, we have encountered where the scribes have
to be told basic spellings as well and the scribes are unable to read
the questions correctly. Such situations are not acceptable.
