However, thanks to the persistent, dedicated efforts of the CCPD and our judiciary, we have witnessed significant, measurable improvements in our field that deserve to be recognized. I am genuinely struggling to understand why you seem either unable or unwilling to acknowledge this clear and impactful progress. You consistently respond to legitimate, hopeful updates with discouraging phrases such as "it didn't happen," "it's not happening," or "it won't happen," which serves only to dampen the enthusiasm of others and derail progress. I sincerely ask that you take some time to reflect on your approach and consider the impact your words have on our community. Please, allow the younger generation the space, encouragement, and support they need to take the lead in this vital mission without constant, wearying discouragement.
