Hello list members, I am using Hathway broadband internet connection. Its a cable connection. There are so many viruses in this LAN connection that when I log in to my account with the user name and password provided by the service provider, AVG8 detects virus. . After logging in, even if I open websites like Google or gmail the result is the same. AVG8 one month demo has firewall. This keeps on informing me that an identified connection was found on your LAN adaptor and I keep on blocking all these unidentified connections. I have MTNL landline, when I connect using MTNL dialup this does not happens and I surf the net smoothly. I have lodged a telephonic complain with Hathway broadband but so far of no use. I would request you to please help me in solving this problem if anybody has faced this problem before or tell me where can I lodge a complain against these service providers so that I can take them to task. I switched from Spectranet because of their poor services and now I am facing the same problem with Hathway. It seems that switching from one service provider to another will not solve the problem unless and until a stern action is taken against one of the service provider to teach them a good lesson. so, please let me know where can I lodge complain, where my plea will be heard. Anybody in the list using Hathway broadband in Delhi could provide e-mail ID where complains will be taken seriously or can a complain be launched with TRAI? I have to clear three online papers before 22nd July. So please be quick in your suggestions and responses.
