Yes, it is really very good idea. The scanning is book is not very difficult
but to edit the book is very difficult task. So, such type of request can be
send to publishers. They are already creating E-text for the purpose of
printing. Please do fllow up.

Subject: [AI] why not e text directly from publishers?
folks, this was in my mind from so long, but asking today only.
once while scanning a long book, suddenly a thought imerged in my mind
that can't we get e text directly from it's publishers?
because that book was published in america, i dropped the idea, and
actually, forgot after that.
today, again this question is bubbling in mind.
all we are familiar with the efferts for scanning long books.
no, i'am not saying that it's difficult, but you all will agree that
it takes a long time.
can't we get their e text from original publishers of those books?
if this may happen, a lot of efferts behind scanning can be saved.
secondly, if this may happen for hindi, we can also read fantastic
hindi books via help of our new hindi jaws.
i haven't ever talked to any one else about this matter, so i'am
really unaware weather it is valid or not.
actually, don't know if it is illegal in some provisions of our law.
kindly tell that have you ever tryed to talk with publishers regarding
this matter?
if yes, what was their response.
i also request to kanchan mam and other related people to throw light
on it's legidmasy.
if everything will be ok, i am planning to have words with some
known publishers of local books.
kindly drop your responses with eager.
sorry if anything wrong.
with profound regards,
prateek agarwal.
