Hi, don't know about SBI, but, just today, I have received my log in user name and password from ICICI bank, and this is what it was suggested there , " If, for some reason, you are unable to change your password the first time, the system would prompt you to change your password and confirm, the next time you login. Kindly use the user ID and password given by the bank to you to login again. "
Hope it is the same with your bank too.

Subject: [AI] SBI account - problem with creating a profile password

Hi all,

My question is directed at those with online access to their SBI accounts:

I received my username and password for online access, and was also able to successfully log into my SBI account. However, immediately on logging in, I was asked to create a profile password. No matter what password I specify here, it does not accept my password. I get the message 'the password in the Profile password field should match the password in the Confirm profile password field'. I of course made sure that it did, but I get the same message again and again. Also, I complied with all the rules -- the password had letters, characters and symbols. It is very irritating not to be able to get through this step as it is impossible to access my account information without completing this step.

Any idea as to how I can solve this problem? Did any of you face a similar problem when you first logged into your account?

Thanks,
Geetha
