I am considering buying Plextalk Pocket PTP1, and just visited the link
listed in your message.
The device description here does not answer a few of my queries:
1. Does Plextalk have the multiple bookmarking feature? In other words, when
reading three or four books simultaneously, is a separate bookmark created
for each paused file including a text/HTML file and a music folder?
2. The site mentions nothing about the device's battery life. Any idea about
the battery duration?
3. Does it by default come with the text to speech software for reading
files in multiple languages or should each language software be purchased
separately?
4. Does it support the OGG file format?
I should perhaps send these questions to a distributor of Plextalk; but
answers would be appreciated.

For all those who might consider purchasing VRS in future, read on.
In my personal opinion, buying Victor Reader Stream is not a good choice.
The decision to buy this product should depend on what you want it most

I consider this the only real benefit of VRS. It will be able to carry and
read your electronic text books.

Digital voice recorders like that of Sony’s are specially built for this
purpose. They also have better recording quality.
• Playback through stereo headphones or secondary small speaker
I personally know some VRS users that complain about the sound quality
that comes out of VRS speakers. But, I guess that is a matter of opinion.
• USB port to transfer books and music from your PC
• User replaceable Rechargeable battery providing 15 hours playtime
• Built-in battery charger (four hours for full recharge)
• Includes switchable external power adapter for use in multiple countries
• Stylish look with high contrast keys and buttons
• Attractive carrying case with belt clip
All good media players have these features.
I personally like Plextalk Pocket PTP1 that is similar to VRS, but a
definitely superior product.
