Hi Geetha and all those who contacted me off-list,
I will attempt to answer your questions as best as I can. Much as I would like, I am not a prowd owner of a Plextalk Pocket, though I have friends abroad who have the product. Read on. > 1. Does Plextalk have the multiple bookmarking feature? In > other words, when reading three or four books > simultaneously, is a separate bookmark created for each > paused file including a text/HTML file and a music folder? Yes. In addition, Plextalk Pocket has 3 types of bookmarks that you can choose from. > 2. The site mentions nothing about the device's battery > life. Any idea about the battery duration? DAISY format, MP3 recording, 10 hours DAISY format, MP3 playing, 10 hours > 3. Does it by default come with the text to speech software > for reading files in multiple languages or should each > language software be purchased separately? Can't say > 4. Does it support the OGG file format? No. As far as I know, OGG is an open source format and most proprietary media players don't like it. The price is always changing, but approximately it is around 320 £ or Rs 23000. Plextalk Pocket PTP1 is a Japanese product and that perhaps is the reason for the lack of information on it in English.
