I have written many times about the coins but no organisation has taken
initiation so far. Why don't we launch a massive mail protest with the
government? Or we can press our NGOs for this venture.

Hello all
Wondering if any organization on the list is planning to move the court to
bring a stay on distribution of the new Rs. 10 coin.
The issue has turned cold here.
The more time we take to act, the lesser chance we have a chance to get it
implemented. This coin shall only effect the blind and shall not affect
the elderly as there is a good contrast for differentiating it visually.
The size of the coin is exactly the same with one series of Rs. 2 coin
except the Rs. 10 coin is marginally thicker.
Presently, The engraving is crisp however it will be of little use in a
period of time.
There is a need to stop this arbitrary changing of size shape and
dimension of the coins. Dexterity is an important characteristic of good
coin design. When there is sufficient scope of making the coins accessible
then it is necessary to press for it.
