Dear List:
Firstly I'm sorry for responding quite late about experience at the
poling booth.
Though i was in Bangalore on16 of April, According to Srinivas, no
facilities are being provided for vote with out any one's help. On the
other hand, in Dilshukh nagar, all the accessaries were provided for
visually impaired voters. In some other places, though there were
braille stickers to EVMs, the officials were not aware of such
facilities for VIs.
As far as I understand, Where ever election commission think that
there are blind voters, there they have provided all the accesseries
needed for us to vote.
I also understand, that the commission may have not trained the
employees successfully. So the letter that we write to the commission
should also include the training part for its employees.
Regards,
Govind.
