Incidentally, NVDA does support other text-to-speach engions; Eloquence, ViaVoice, other real speak voices, festival TTS and others. I am not sure as to how to set them up; you can join the NVDA mailing list. Send a blank e-mail to [email protected] with the word "subscribe" with out the quotes... Regards, Ravi Paul
