Even logically, it makes sense to switch to the latest version of any
product. That way IE8 is the option. Even sites like FB and Twitter ask
users to upgrade to IE8.

Subject: [AI] IE7 or IE8: which is more accessible?

Hello all,

I am a staunch believer in not fixing things that are not broken, and
have
been obstinately using IE6 as it worked very well for me. However, with
support for IE6 being gradually eliminated, it is perhaps time to
upgrade to
a newer version.

Between IE7 and IE8, which is most accessible with Jaws 9? Also, from
the
point of view of ease of use, which is better?

Thanks.
Geetha
