Dear Arpit
Educational field is always an escape goat whenever allocation of financial
resources is concerned.
In Maharashtra, Teachers are appointed as shikshan sevaks for initial three
years and then they are paid the regular scales which are decent enough and at
par with government employees.
However, appointments of teachers in Maharashtra even in government granted
schools and even appointments of lecturers are mostly done by way of trade. I
mean posts are, more often than not, bought and sold.
This is so for able-bodied, situation is much worse for blind.
I can not understand why government authorities including UGC which conduct
national level qualifying test for lectureship, do not make appointments
themselves instead of leaving it to managements of individual institutions.

Anyway, coming to your case, have you tried to clear NET in Hindi?
Why have you not done regular B.ED?
Or why don't you do the same even now?
You may do B.ED. by correspondence course as it is allowed for serving teachers.
That will make you eligible for teaching job up to senior secondary level.
Now, I am afraid without regular B.ED., you can not apply for middle school
high school or junior college teachers job, and without NET you can not apply
for Senior college job.
Without D.ED. you can not apply for primary teachers job as well.
I am not discouraging you, but why don't you acquire regular teaching
qualifications. Courses from Hadley school are not relevant for teaching job in
India.
In kendriya vidyalaya, some vacancies for Hindi teacher's post are reserved for
VH almost every year. Do apply for it, sometimes for PGT, they don't require
B.ED., sometimes they do. FOR TGT, it is a must.
Or else, do try other fields as suggested by other AI members.
Ultimately, don't lose hope and what you already have.

Sorry for being so blunt!!!

Regards

Dear Arpit Jain,

I feel really sorry for the pay scales in MP. There has been a pay
revision in AP very recently and the teachers in AP are being paid
very handsomely now. But I'm not sure whether you can apply for a job
in other states. Your age is an important factor. If that permits,
why don't you try for a central government job, SSC and RRB have
announced their recruitments recently. You can apply for bank exams
also.

Coming to your case, don't know whether all these are possible, but a
few suggestions;

1. Why don't you take up tuitions in Hindi in the evenings and mornings.
2. Get yourself acquainted with some skills like medical
transcription and similar ones during summers and take it up as a part
time job during evenings and mornings.
3. You said you're good at singing. If you are really proficient in
music, you can take up music classes.

But remember one thing, you're feeling for your low pay. Majority of
blind people in India are still unemployed. Something is better than
nothing. Don't take any decission in haste.
