ASP .Net looks good from employment perspective. You can build ASP .Net web sites using Visual Studio, the Integrated Development Environment. Java is also a good candidate for that matter. But for beginners, I feel C++ would be of great help. It helps understand OOPS concepts quite well. Maybe people willing to learn can give more thought to this.
