You can take your own scribe or they will provide you one. Unfortunately
what they provide is someone from the talati or land Registry. Please do not
even think of using that person.
Sorry dont know the eligibility criteria for your own scribe. Ask UPSC and
let me know when you get to know.

Can anyone please tell me if persons with visual disabilities are
permitted to bring their own scribes to help write their UPSC papers?
Or are scribes provided to them by the Commission itself at the venue.
Also let me know the requisite qualifications of the scribe. This is
urgent.
