A mass protest showing our numerical strength before Ministry, along with the substantial coverage of Mass Media might wake up these political 'Akaas' patronising such 'Belagaam Baboos' , and start considering Blind Community as a solid VotBank. Otherwise, it will be very difficult to persuade Legislature of this country, who even do not hesitate to overrule
Sent from my CellPHONE... -original message- Subject: Re: [AI] Fw: Induction of Visually Impaired into IAS From: Shadab Husain <[email protected]> Date: 05/03/2011 8:09 pm It is time we tasked ourselves to winning our battle either by hook or crook. Subhash sir, you have pertinently pointed to the current chaos of the Arab countries; such an action is the urgent need of the hour here. In the answer nowhere it is mentioned that the totally blind are not eligible from getting appointment into IAS. It is merely mentioned “partially blind candidates are eligible for appointment into IAS.” I am not such a law person, but perhaps this means another series of questions to clarify whether the totally blind are not eligible from getting appointment into IAS. This type of couching implies that we need to have lifelong patience to keep on tendering our rightful petitions to the corrupt politicians, bureaucrats, and the third system I won’t dare to blurt out in this freedom-loving nation. I would like to mention an Urdu sher here: Yay khamoash mizaji tumhay jeenay nahi daygi, Jo duniya main rehna hai to kohraam machado! My translation: This silent attitude would not allow you to survive, Create a chaos if you want to live in this world!
