it should be clearly attested by a gazetted officer. thumb is eligible. why visiting centers dear apply online. got it within 15 days. you can choose to pay by credit card or D.D. fill the online application in TIN-NSDL web sight take a print of the application along with the fee payment receipt if payed online. send it by speed post along with documents required attach D.D with if payed by D.D duly mentioning your application number on the back of it and on the envelope also. i think if you can do it it is the easy process and no objections like this will ponder us. the web sight is pretty much accessible.
