Dear Rajesh Sir,
Though personally I support your approach of understanding rationale behind any demand, but unfortunately our country doesn't do so. Unless you go to higher authorities, juniors will try and see whether policy allows it expressly, and if the answer is in affirmative then only they do something. The reason is the same which you mention, because 99% of them work without understanding rationale. So whatever is on papers, is god for them. And approaching seniors is not an easy job, and also requires hell lot of time to spend. Because most of the time, you even don't get the reply from these authorities. In this case also, I wrote an email to ministry few months back, but didn't get any reply as expected. Since it was not an urgency for me, I did not follow-up though. With the kind of current situations prevailing, then that day is not too far when we will carry a document for even accissing basic facilities of life. Or it might be included in the legislation! Who knows that before birth a document will be attached with us by Mr. God saying that we have the right to born! :) 99% of people reading this are free to disagree of course! However before somebody turns up and say something, understand that I have nothing against any legislation / any effort put by anyone in this field! -----Original Message----- From: Asudani, Rajesh

Dear Eknath
I precisely want to change this mindset of presumed denial.

If you will submit to whims of officials and then they will ask you to produce a circular for claiming your lunch and eating it independently...

Who knows a blind person may not require food, or how will he eat it independently?

Eknath I own a car in my own name..

SBI raised a similar issue while processing my brother's vehicle loan and we made them literally apologize for it. So, friends apply your logic and ask others also to apply their rational minds and do not be bogged down.

Eknath, of go for a designated driver or a joint ownership of your car, then I am afraid you will create a very very bad precedent... I don't have to say much if any other "Senior" access indian can guide further...

So far, i think, what Amar said is right. However, do not have any
printed guidlines on it.

Attention rajesh sir,
Things become easier than arguing with RTO if you have something
printed to show them or else they invent their own fundas to say how
we can't do things than suggesting how one can do it.

Kindly, senior accessindians guide as to howcan i own a vehicle. Is it
that it have to be registered on my name or else their needs to be
designated driver who will onw the car or something like a joint
account.
