Hi friends, Like all our friends, I too condemn this behaviour of the parent.
Let me give an example from a different context in a different country. We all know the one child policy of China. Only one child is allowed in the urban areas. But people living in rural areas can go for a second child if the first child is a girl. It clearly shows the perception of the government about women! If women are still looked down as in the above example, I'm not surprised to see disabled being looked as they are in the current story. But there has been a change from the past. And I'm sure there will be change in the future also. Let's strive for that.
