Hi, CBSE has not done away with practicals. Rather, it has decided to conduct multiple choice practical exam based on practical observations and experiments so as to ensure that the candidate concerned is well-versed with the experiments in the curriculum. Detailed guidelines for the same can be looked up on the CBSE website http://www.cbse.nic.in/welcome.htm. Sample question papers and syllabus for Physics, Chemistry and Biology are also put up on the Board's website.
