Hello,
I also could not locate the etsrvup.dll file on my pc. Perhaps it came with
some programme you installed. Try to remember which programme you installed
or uninstalled recently. Maybe the changes were made by that programme.
You can check the hidden files after turning the Show hidden or system files
on. Go to the My Computer or Windows Explorer view and then go to tools
menu, folder options submenu, press ctrl+tab once for accessing the view
tab. Press tab key twice for the tree view of options. Press the letter h
for hidden files. arrow down to Sho hidden files. It should be turned off by
default. Press the spacebar to turn it on and activate the ok button.
With best regards,

Subject: Re: [AI] regarding dll errors
Hello,
First of all, thanks very much for all yours advise.
While following the steps suggested, I faced the following problems:
At verghese sir:
While checking about hardware failures in the system properties could
not find any information about any defects. So how do I go for
checking such failures?
At amiyo sir:
Visited the URL given by you and tried searching the error dll file
but could not locate my file etsrvup.dll
So even tried to see whether this file is missing in my specified location
C:\Windows\system32\CodeIntegrity\etsrvup.dll
But could not find the same. I was successful in reaching up to only
system 32 but then later path could not be located i.e. from
CodeIntegrity\etsrvup.dll
As you have mentioned that files may be hidden so how do I chekc for
these files?
I have also tried giving the keywords for this file in the search of
this site but could not find any desired results.
At dinesh sir:
I had tried to follow the steps suggested. After typing the sfc
/scannow I could make out that there was some message on the screen
wich of course was not at all clear to me as it was reading in some
other language but could only make out that there are no repairs.
Detail instruction could not be red even with jaws kursor. I could
even not make out whether there was any scanning progress. So after
waiting for few minutes, I typed exit and restarted my computer but
the same error message came on the initial screen upon bootting.
So are there any other suggestions besides going for reinstalling the OS?
Sorry for bothering you again.
Your response is kindly requested.
Thanks,
mukesh.

what I will suggest him is, insert the OS cd and go to the command prompt
and type sfc /scannow if he can log into his computer. that will restore
all
the files into it's original position.

Hello Mukesh,
Sometimes dll files get lost in a host of applications. I faced a
similar
propbloem in Windows XP. I am just trying to relate the steps.
First, make sure the dll file is in place, i.e., check if the file is
not
really missing. It may be a hidden file. If you don't find it in the
specified folder, that is,
C:\Windows\system32\CodeIntegrity\etsrvup.dll,
you can download it from C:\Windows\system32
www.dlldump.com
It is a free store for all dll files. Anyway, paste the file in the
proper
location. Go to cmd prompt and try these commands:
cd C:\Windows\System32
regsvr32 codeIntegrity\etsrvup.dll
