I find it quite useful to memmorise keys / menu sequence of withdrawing cash in those ATM machines which I frequently happen to access. As per my experience, all ATM machines asked for the password just after inserting the card. And one more thing what I've observed is ATM machines have a key marked "X" in capital letter. This key when pressed will eject the debit card out which has been of some help whenever I failed to remember the menu sequence while transacting. Yes happens with me sometimes when my memory eludes me.
