No, its an ATM card - I use it for ATM transactions as well. It doesn't perform an OTP security for such transactions. There are transactions like adding a beneficiary, etc where it performs an OTP (they call it as URN) and the card security is not performed. It sounds like performing a card security check at some places and OTP check at others. I have passed each of these types of security checks on the site but may not be able to list out transactions where each security type comes to play. The point that I am trying to make here is that the card may be required while performing online transactions with some banks.
