dear sandeep,
first of all, let me tell you that you have to complete the transaction
quickly and sign out of IRCTC. if you keep it idle for few minutes, your
session will expire. so, next time be prepared with all the info before
booking and finish it soon.
regarding your earlier transaction, I think the ticket has not been booked
and you won't get the ticket. but I advise you to check once in your booking
history for confirmation. normally you will get back your amount to your
bank account in 5 days. for more details, contact the IRCTC call center. one
more thing, update your mobile number in your IRCTC account so that you get
the transaction SMS. IRCTC will not take much time for booking. it will be
done within seconds if everything is OK.

Subject: [AI] regarding booking from IRCTC
Dear friends,
I booked E ticket from IRCTC this morning.
When I have entered all informations related to my debit card etc. (after
going through all the procedure to book ticket)
after pressing ok button, I got the page: session expired
"your session has been expired"
immediately I got the message from my bank through sms alert that
the ----- amount has been debited from my account
But I have not got any ticket related information.
I logged in again. There is an option, detail of failed transactions.
Here one transaction no. for the particular booking is shown. But, below,
it was written,
payment not receive by bank.
So friends, how much time IRCTC takes to book ticket.
or
my transaction has failed
now, what should I do next?
Pls guide immediately.
Waiting
Sandeep G
