How safe is it for a blind person to shop for the jewellery independently, more specifically, can we distinguish the genuineness of gold merely by touch and feel? Blind lady shoppoholics, what's your take on this? Can you differentiate the gold-plated jewellery vs, the real gold jewellery by just touch and feel alone? Lastly, if there is an assistive technology which allows you to accomplish this, how often would you be using it?
