If your needs are like browsing, working with MS Office, ddf files etc, you can defitly go for netbook. But if your need is something like multimedia editing, you have to opt for better ones. If the work load is very heavy the net book is of no good and may crash easily. I am using samsung netbook for the last two years without any problem until it fall from my hand accidently..
