oh! i am using dell's net book for about 3 years without any major issues.
it works well with jaws & kes, it also good to perform utilities like
multimedia, scanning, & printing. it is good at net browsing. this devise
has excellent bbattery backup for 5,6 hours.
i think netbook is verymuch suited to academic purpose, but may not suited
to perform some heavy tasks with atom processor. this is my personal
experience.
