i think mr george has asked a pertinant question. before taking any immediate action it must be established whether all airports r doing this with all airlines following the same policy. i have no legal knowledge but i still think it must be varified whether this new norm or system is an official mandate or some general theory of particular staff members at the airport. i'm not doubting the news, but i'm slightly reluctant to believe that announcements would be entirely banned in the name of noise polution. would it be possible for any1 to insist on some authentic official source claiming the same?? again, i'm not sure if my concern is vallid. its just a quary because i think your gonna need the official source to fight the cause in the 1st place. best, Shireen.
