There are travel agents who bookk ticket online in just five to ten rupees.
So there is no need to know computers in order to book ticket online.
neither do we need any credit cards or internet banking.

general ticket can not be purchased online. and what about those blind
people who don't know computers and not even have a bank account? will the
highcourt order fulfill their purpose? in accessindia we always talk about
the technology and its advantage, but, who will take care of those 99% blind
people have not enough money to go to their school-hostel from their home.
online booking is a luxury for those who know computer and have netbanking
and creditcard facility with them. it is not a solution. first blind person
should have a bank account, then he should be facilitate net banking by his
banker. then one can book ticket online.

The best solution for it is to get the booking facility online. The
associations/organisations can play a big role for impressing upon the
railways that online booking has been granted to us through Courts and
therefore, it is mandatory for the railways to do the needful.

Friends I have also faced such problems in tirupathi and SECUNDERABAD. I
think that this kind of problems will not be arise if the railway department
will issue a pass/card to the PWD. our organizations should fight with the
railway authorities for such pas/card.

YESTARDAY I WAS REFUSED TO GET THE RAILWAY TICKET ON THE CONCESSION
THAT CAN BE AVAILED BY THE VISUALLY IMPAIRED PERSONS. THE SECUNDERABAD
RAILWAY STATION AUTHORITIES WERE ON THE ARGUMENT THAT, THE CIRTIFICATE
I HAD PRODUCED WAS NOT DUELY SIGNED BY THE CONCERNED PERSON. ON THE
CONTRARY, I COULD PROVE I AM ONE HUNDRED PERCENT RIGHT, EVEN BY
PRODUCING THE BAR CODE NUMBER TO THE RAILWAY CIRCULAR WHICH SAYS THAT
I AM CORRECT. WHEREAS THE EGOISTIC, ADAMENT, AND ARROGANT AUTHORITY
(CRI ON DUTY) REFUSED TO UNDERSTAND MY POINT, AND TOLD ME THAT HE IS
GOING TO BLACK LIST ME. I DEMANDED FOR A WRITTEN STATEMENT WHICH SAYS
THAT HE CANNOT ISSUE ME THE TICKET ON THE BASIS OF THE CIRTIFICATE I
PRODUCED, AS PER HIS KNOWLEDGE THE CIRTIFICATE IS NOT VALID. BUT HE
WAS NOT READY TO GIVE IT TO ME IN WRITING. HE MADE ME AND MY OTHER TWO
FRIENDS WAIT IN THE RAILWAYSTATION FOR MORE THAN TWO HOURS, AND
EVENTUALLY WHEN I PUT DOWN MY FOOT AND SAID THAT I WON’T LEAVE IF THE
ISSUE IS NOT SORTED OUT  HE ISSUED US THE TICKET SAYING THAT NEXT TIME
ONWARDS I SHOULDN’T USE THE SAME CIRTIFICATE. I AM ONE HUNDRED PERCENT
CERTAIN THAT I AM RIGHT IN EVERY SENSE, AND THIS ATTITUDE IS MERE
IGNORANCE FROM THE AUTHORITIES PART. WHEN I WAS DEMANDING FOR MY
RIGHT, HE WAS THREATENING ME SAYING THAT HE WILL BLACK LIST ME. I
COULD ARGUE FOR MY RIGHT, AS I AM EXPOSED TO THE RULES,  WAS SUPPORTED
BY SENSIBLE, HELPING FRIENDS, AND AS I CAN AVAIL OTHER FECELITIES.
THIS MAY NOT BE THE CASE FOR ALL. RIGHTS SHOULD BE PROVIDED BY DEFOLT,
AND NOT ON THE DEMAND. THANKS MY DEARS; YOU WERE THERE WITH ME….
