Hi Amiyo, My Windows XP is rusty. Go into the system configuration utility and see what you can find. How are you shutting down your computer? I ask since I am running Windows 7 on my home desktop, a netbook and on the office laptop without any problems.
Nod32 is ok in terms of system resource usage and 2GB of ram is ok too. Is your windows system fully patched?
